• CompuCal secures partner and customer on its first ever trade mission to China

Cork-based CompuCal Calibration Solutions Ltd has announced a new partnership with Shanghai-based PharmEng Technology Ltd.

Matthew Dornan & Albert WangCompuCal's calibration management software will now be available to buy in the Chinese marketplace, under the direction of Albert Wang of PharmEng Technology Ltd.

According to Jackie Dornan, managing director of CompuCal, PharmEng Technology underwent a lengthy selection process to identify its suitability for representing the CompuCal brand in China.

"PharmEng Technology's association with our long-term partners Endress+Hauser was a deciding factor for us in establishing the partnership. We feel that CompuCal's position will now be strengthened in the global marketplace and we look forward to a long and successful working relationship with PharmEng Technology," she said.

Wang added: "Our connections here in Shanghai will allow us to bring CompuCal to a whole new customer base and we are confident that this partnership will help us to develop further links between the Irish and Chinese business communities."

Currently on a trade visit to China with the Irish Exporters Trade Association, CompuCal has also confirmed the securing of its first active customer in China.

Sensor designer and manufacturer Measurement Specialities (MEAS) Galway, which also has a 25,000sq metre manufacturing plant BetaCERA in Shen Zhen, has confirmed it will implement CompuCal's calibration and maintenance software in both its Galway facility and in its Chinese partner's facility in Suzhou, China.
